Friday we arrived in Buenos Aires! What a city! We enjoyed walking around and discovering the different areas. Today we meet with the agent for the custom clearance of the Land Rover Defender which arrived yesterday by schip (Maersk Lota). We hope this will be a smooth and fast process, we can't wait to start our discovery of the country and the continent. Up to now we have spotted a nice green Range rover 4 door (ano '80's), a 90 TDI open top with a roll cage near the Facultad de derecho univerisdad. During the San Telmo market my wive spotted a 110 4 door. Hope to see more land rovers and meet with the owners. Jan Belgium |

Back from the agent, Tadem global logistics.....the price for the release of the car is triple of what was agreed in Belgium! Not a good expierence. As soon Belgium is awake again a check with the forwarder! |

Hi Jan! Was a pleasure to meet you and your lovely family. I loved your Defender. Have fun and have a nice trip!!! Atención los del Sur (Viedma/Madryn y más allá...). Mañana salen para allá y en unos días deberían andar por ahí. Andan en un Defe td5 2002 o 03 (gris bonatti) no me acuerdo bien que año me dijo. Van a estar 6 meses viajando por sudamérica y terminan en Colombia donde embarcan nuevamente a Bélgica. Viaja con su esposa y 3 hijos. Muy gauchos los 5. Jan estaba apenado que se perdió por pocos días los dos encuentros (el de acá y el de Madryn que van a llegar a los pocos días de finalizado). Saludos! |
